Signal transduction mechanisms that control the activation, growth and apoptosis of T lymphocytes

1) To examine the signal transduction mechanisms used by the T cell antigen receptor, the IL-1 receptor, the CD28 antigen and the CD69 antigen to induce T cell activation. 2) To examine the signal transduction mechanisms used by the IL-2 receptor and the Fas antigen to control T cell growth and apoptosis.
