The aim of the conference is to convene scientists,
technologists and users interested in the exploration of
environmental engineering applications and renewable energy
sources for developing countries through research and transfer
of knowledge and know-how.
The use of renewable energy sources in water management and/or
treatment in arid and semi-arid regions will be discussed.
Solar irradiation and wind are particularly suited to the
supply of energy in remote areas.
Environmental management, policy, impact assessment, monitoring,
as well as protection are important topics of the conference.
