All papers accepted will be published in the Proceedings and available during the Conference.


GUIDELINES FOR THE PREPARATION OF FULL PAPERS

  1. The total length of the paper including figures (diagrams and photographs), tables and references must not exceed ten pages. The length of the Abstract must not exceed 200 words or 15 rows.

  2. Manuscript must be written in grammatically correct English and printed with a high-quality printer on white A4 size (210 x 297 mm) paper. The Secretariat will not attempt to edit or correct the submitted papers. A copy of the printed paper and a copy of the file containing the paper on an IBM-format disk must be sent to the Conference Secretariat via regular mail. The file also should be sent by e-mail as attached file. Only Microsoft Word 6.x /Word 97-Windows 95 or Rich Text Format (RTF) files will be accepted.

  3. The body text must be written using 12 points Times New Roman normal font. Paragraphs must be with single line spacing, fully justified, no indentation at the beginning of each paragraph, as indicated in the example. Leave two blank rows of 12 pt after the text of the Abstract and before each new chapter headings. Leave one blank row of 12 pt before sub-chapter headings and after chapter and sub-chapter headings.

  4. Do not put page numbers either in the printed paper or in the file. Instead, write the page number in pencil on the back of each printed page.

  5. Leave page margins as follows: top and bottom 2 cm; left and right 2.5 cm.

  6. All mathematical expressions in the text shall be typed. Allow for sufficient blank areas on the left- and right- hand sides of each equation. All equations shall be numbered in brackets at the right margins, with one blank line above and below.

  7. Number figures and tables consecutively in the order in which reference is first made to them in the text. They should be integrated into the text and placed as close as possible to where they are first referenced. Figures, tables and photographs must be ONLY black and white. Photographs should be inserted in the Word processor file as .TIF, .JPEG or .BMP images, after scanning at least at 300 DPI. Where this is not possible, they should be submitted as black and white glossy prints and mounted on the original copy exactly as they are to appear. Lettering must be large enough to be readable when reduced to 85%.

  8. Citation for references in the text is expected to be made by putting the number (between square brackets) the reference is given in the reference list at the end of the paper. The references at the and of the main text should be arranged in ascending order of first citation and follow the style given in the example below. All references are expected to be cited in the text.

  9. Footnotes are not allowed.
