HOW TO REACH THE CONFERENCE SITE

Villa Mondragone is in Monte Porzio Catone, a small town in a hilly region ("Castelli Romani") in the outskirts of Rome. Both hotels are close to the conference site, one (Hotel Villa Vecchia) at walking distance (about 1 Km), the other one (Hotel dei Giovannella) a little farther away. During the conference, transportation will be organized between the hotels and the conference site. A shuttle bus will pick up the participants at the Hotel dei Giovannella at 8:05, then at the Hotel Villa Vecchia at 8:15, and arrive at Villa Mondragone shortly before the scheduled starting time at 8:30. The shuttle will then take all participants back to the hotels after the last afternoon session. On Monday July 30 the registration desk will be open from 16:00-19:00 at the conference site, and refreshments will be served there, but no shuttle bus will be running, since the arrival time will vary. Participants wishing to register on Monday afternoon can walk there from the Hotel Villa Vecchia, or, from either hotel, phone the following numbers for being picked up: 06-94019424 / 329-6226829.

As sometimes the taxi drivers try to take advantage of their customers, in case you want to take a taxi please send a message to Ciak Selezione Immagine (marisella.c@tiscalinet.it) with the name of your airline company, your flight number and arrival time, and they will try to book one for you at a fixed rate and confirm it to you. If you decide to take a taxi upon your arrival, beware of non-official cars, go to the marked taxi stand and take only the white (most) or yellow (few) cabs with official signs from the Comune di Roma (City of Rome). If you take a taxi at the last minute you have to rely on the meter because they usually do not agree upon a flat rate on the spot.
