PhD in Managerial Engineering

The PhD program in Managerial Engineering aims to promote:

A) a multidisciplinary and integrated knowledge relative to the main topics of managerial engineering, and a cultural open-mindedness and ability to study problems in innovative way arranging various perspectives of analysis;

B) an in-depth and frontier knowledge on one of the specific topics of managerial engineering, advanced and relevant to the economic, social and cultural context. These include, new public management and management of innovation in the public administration, e-government, knowledge management, value analysis, economy and management of technological change, entrepreneurship, planning and management of manufacturing system, operations research, integrated logistic, etc…;

C) ability to anticipate problems, emerging phenomena and solutive approaches relevant to industrial systems;

D) ability to model and analyze systems making use of a wide number of approaches, methods and instruments;

E) ability to govern the innovation paradigm;

F) ability to operate in an international context;

G) ability to argument and discuss results of research, in all the expressive shapes.
