The objectives of the Ph.D program in Preventative Medicine methodologies and therapies are:

1) to acquire clinical expertise in the design and execution of observational clinical trials, with particular reference to the fields of Infectious Diseases, Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Surgery;
2) to gain research skills in the fields of Disease Prevention and Public Hygiene;
3) to become familiar with the prominent issues of cost-effectiveness in Public Health.
