SUMMER
COURSES IN ITALIAN
LANGUAGE AND CULTURE
FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
June
13th - August 6th 2005
This program aims at showing the intimate
connection between Rome and Latium and their culture and
literary production. The streets, squares, back ways of
Rome with their world famous monuments and ancient buildings,
will be the ideal setting to read some of the best passages
that Italian writers such as Gadda, Pirandello and Ungaretti
devoted to the description of the “Eternal City”. There
will also be some outings in the area surrounding Rome:
in order to discover the beauties and history of places
such as albano and Nemi (famous for their lakes) Norma and
Ninfa (renowed for their gardens) and Rieti with its well-kown.
